Easy Peasy is one of our favorite brands. Made in France, Easy Peasy is dedicated to the support and use of eco-friendly raw materials as well as responsible consumption. Easy Peasy shoes are made of the best quality materials available. Easy Peasy footwear is made of 100% vegetable-tanned leather that is soft, lightweight, allowing feet to breathe while keeping warm and protected. In an effort to find eco-friendly dyes and leather, Easy Peasy developed their own tanner, producing a new type of vegetal-tanned leather that is light stable. The name “vegetal-tanned” leather comes from a tanning process that uses fruits and leaves instead of metals or other chemicals. This means that if the shoe is chewed on, or put into the mouth, it will be perfectly harmless to the child.
Easy Peasy puts enormous amounts of effort into the comfort and design of their shoes. Their flexible soles allow children’s feet to grow naturally and muscles to develop as if they were walking barefoot. A layer of natural Hevea is added to the sole for additional comfort and shock absorption. With Easy Peasy’s infant shoes, the sole is made of a soft, non-slip leather that grips the floor and makes for great every day wear. For the larger sizes, they add a thin, crepe outsole for more strength.
Easy Peasy shoes come in an adorable cloth carrying-bag that can be reused. The bag itself is made from natural, unbleached and undyed cotton. Each bag has an original design on it usually created by a well-known artist. They even came up with a new process without silk-screen ink that makes for an environmentally friendly printing.
